…as a single journey to discover the perfect cup of coffee,
unearthed a shared passion with an entire family.

About...

Based in Simonstown, our family found inspiration in naming Just Roasted after the local legend Just Nuisance. Just like our beloved neighbourhood hero, we share a love for the community as well as being a friendly face to all.

We source our beans from East Africa – the home of the coffee bean. Grown between the tropics of Capricorn and Cancer, at an altitude exceeding a mile high, these beans are raised in Volcanic soil. Our beans are Artisan roasted in small batches, to ensure premium quality coffee in every cup.

About our roasting...

Roast it your way. Do you have a roasting style preference? We will roast to your specifications.
Light
Roasts
This style is usually applied to mild coffee varieties. The beans are not roasted long enough for the oil to reach the surface of the bean. They are a very light Brown colour.
Medium
Roasts

Darker Brown in colour than light roasts. Again, no oil will be on the surface.

Med/Dark
Roasts

Darker colour, some oil on the surface, slight bitter aftertaste.

Dark
Roasts

Very oily shiny surface, with a very bitter taste. Less acidity in the taste, colour from Black with oil on the surface to a charred appearance.
